"If you like when companies screw over their customers, then this is the place for you! Sell your car and forget to send in the documents? No problem, you’ll get a message that says “these documents aren’t good enough” with no explanation why and that they “can’t” backdate for the time you over paid. Don’t you worry, though, they’ll cancel your Insurnace when you don’t pay (because they owe you money) and when they finally tell you why the documents aren’t good enough (so you can remedy the situation in all of 5 minutes) they’ll tell you that you need to pay to have your account reinstated so they can backdate properly and give you your money. I have to pay money to the people that owe me money just so that way I can get my money back that I already paid. What kind of extortion operation are we running here? For a customer of 10 YEARS? Truly abhorrent behavior, but I honestly expect nothing less from an Insurnace agency such as State Farm. Par for the course, indeed."

"Shame on State Farm and this local office! Towing and Roadside Assistance are not additional services with State Farm, they’re actually claims made against your policy. This was never clearly communicated by this agency. In a previous call for towing assistance, they directed me to the State Farm app, which takes you through an entirely different process then making an actual claim. Nowhere does it state that you are filing a claim by any means. My initial call to express concerns with Jessica was less then helpful and her undertone made for a poor customer experience. My follow-up with Nicole wasn’t any better. She stated she’s “just a liaison” for State Farm and took no accountability for failing to review or explain policy details properly up front. As a local agency, better communication and customer service are essential. Reviewing a client’s policy when they call, especially for something that could trigger a claim, should be standard practice. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. With so many options for insurance providers out there, I would definitely recommend running in a different direction."
